A Glimpse into the Future: Long Way to Go

Lili Huang's creative journey doesn't stop at documentaries. She is also diligently developing a feature film titled Long Way to Go. This story revolves around the intricate dynamics within a Chinese family across three generations. The film explores the complexities of love and emotions, set against the backdrop of family conflicts and the pursuit of personal dreams. It promises to be a captivating exploration of the human experience.

Accomplishments That Speak Volumes

In addition to her current projects, Lili Huang has already achieved an impressive list of accomplishments in the world of filmmaking. She holds a Master of Fine Arts in Film Directing from the Shanghai Theatre Academy, a Master of Arts in Film and Media Production from the New York Film Academy, and a Global MBA in Business Management from KEDGE Business School. Lili Huang is also an outstanding member of the Shanghai Film Association, affiliated with the China Film Association. The committee elected her as a member of this distinguished association based on rigorous criteria. Among these criteria was recognizing her as an exceptionally talented filmmaker.

Furthermore, her films, including Mei Mei, The Coin, The Flower of the Future, and the documentary Xi Xi, won major awards at prestigious film festivals domestically and internationally. In 2018, Lili was selected as the screenwriter for an animated feature film project produced by Shanghai Animation Film Studios, titled Sang Sang, adapted from the book The Girl from French Fort. Additional significant accomplishments include Best Film, Best Screenplay, Best Documentary Director (nominee), and official selection for the Oscar Short Film category.
