Amidst record heat before an audience so large that it made one police officer mutter, “holy fuck that’s a lot of people,” Your Favorite Artists’ Favorite Artist took to the stage at Chicago’s Lollapalooza in lucha libre-style wrestling attire. This past Thursday, Chappell Roan attracted the biggest turnout for a daytime set in festival history, a fitting record for Lolla’s 20th anniversary.

Other musical icons performed over the four-day festival, including Ethel Cain, Laufey, The Japanese House, Kesha, Tyla, and Reneé Rapp. Pierce the Veil, a rock trio from San Diego, put on a spectacular performance as did English singer-songwriter RAYE, who won a record 6 Brit awards in March.

At the center of the madness, amongst 110,000 screaming fans, photographer Jeremy Kost captured the performances with a series of polaroids which he generously shared with FLAUNT.
