Moncler and Rick Owens come together once again, this time with an innovation on relaxation. While their last collaborative project revolved around customizing a tour bus with aesthetic-bubble-interiors (with clothing to match) for a road trip to Michael Heirzer’s ‘Double Negative’ in Nevada, recently they have been creating a more introverted installation.
Debuted at Olympia London on Hammersmith Rd, the luxury brands have designed a soundproof, isolated sleeping pod made from steel, featuring a regenerative oxygen concentration tool. The pod is insulated with organically dyed and recycled nylon, and is uniquely created to coordinate with a Rick Owens clothing capsule. The sleeping pod features a temperature controlled ventilation system, refrigerated storage, and an internal sound, video, and lighting system. This futuristic take on sleep is available for order through Owenscorp furniture division.
