Bridging the gap between beauty and politics, MoveOn has devised a campaign that aims to both maximize voter turnout and bring together like-minded individuals. At their core, MoveOn is dedicated to cultivating, organizing, and mobilizing a collective that works to bring about change within the country, and specifically, its political structure. Nail the Vote is a call to action, aiming to encourage voters of all demographics to get to the polls and cast their vote this upcoming midterm season.
MoveOn partnered with independent agency, TaskForce, to create two limited-edition voting-themed nail wrap designs, both available starting October 3rd, at www.NailtheVote.com. Fine artist Ariel Wilson was commissioned to create the designs, and celebrity nail artist Miho Okawara, Latress, and Bel Townsend will also create bespoke voting-themed nail art for fellow Nail the Vote celebrity partners, including Alicia Keys, Jaime King, and Natasha Rothwell.
Nail the Vote will also be giving participants the opportunity to multiply their vote by use of vote tripling—a tactic known to increase impact at the polls, by asking them to share photos of the nail wraps to social media outlets using the hashtag #NailTheVote22.
