The Starling hotel officially debuted in June 2022 in Atlanta. Taking on a new identity, the hotel Formerly known as the W Atlanta Midtown, has now joined the Curio Collections by Hilton. The Curio Collection is a unique compilation of hotels that have distinctive characteristics. 

The hotel is inspired by starling birds which can be found nearby at the Piedmont Park. The comparison to the starling birds who often fly in large coordinated flocks reflects the diverse community of people who visit the hotel. The new rebrand also came with a revamping of the hotel’s programming as well as new facilities such as The Spa at The Starling and the food and beverage concept, Lantana.

Lantana is named after a vibrant flower that is parallel to the colorful and floral space in which the lobby bar is located. Lantana offers all-day full service from breakfast to dinner to late-night drinks led by Executive Chef Russell Hayes. Here, guests can indulge in an array of culinary delights, and enjoy nightly live jazz and DJ sets with "Live at Lantana."

The interior design of The Starling is an ode to the vibrant city outside its doors. Its eclectic style is reflected in the floral ceiling print and framed birds. The prime location in the middle of Midtown allows guests to experience the arts and culture scene of Atlanta. 

The Starling features 433 distinctive guest rooms and 33 unique suites with incredible city views. Additionally, there is 45,500 square feet of meeting space, including 9,400 square feet of ballroom space and a top-floor event space that features an expansive panoramic view of the city. The Starling is a part of Hilton Honors, Hilton’s award-winning guest loyalty program.
