The Earth Not a Globe, marks the first solo exhibition by painter Tristan Unrau at Sebastian Gladstone in Los Angeles. Unrau's work is impacted by a sardonic sense of humor in regards to himself and the surrounding world, observing his own romanticism and sentimentality. The show takes us on a journey through the artist's process and his skepticism that arises in his search for meaning and voice. Intrigued by the absurd, Unrau's works portray the real yet hilarious anxieties we riddle ourselves with, from the surface level to the soul. The Earth Not a Globe is on view through March 18th.
