Parisian fashion house Zadig & Voltaire toys with dichotomy, positioning itself at the center of binaries like morning and midnight, work and play. For their Fall / Winter 2023 Collection, the French clothing line teamed up with model Steinberg to interrogate the concept of the hero and the villain.

A pure red backless dress coupled with Steinberg’s smoldering gaze evokes the passionate essence of the nighttime heroine out and about town. In contrast, glittery lace and sleek leather in black define the complex villainess. Zadig & Voltaire’s FW23 campaign complicates two opposing ideals by uncovering their nuances through bold design.
