Zadig & Voltaire, popular designer brand, released their new unisex line of sneakers named Wings. Before you ask, they won’t give you wings on your back. Characterized by their extra-long fuzzy laces, you’re really going to feel like you’re flying through the streets as your laces flap from side to side.

Don’t even feel bad for ruining our atmosphere with your private flying, either, because Zadig & Voltaire have committed to minimizing waste and reducing their carbon footprint. They’ve produced both a high-top sneaker (High Wings) and a low-top sneaker (Wings) utilizing recycled cotton linings, recycled polyester laces, and soles made from 100% TPU, including 30% recycled TPU.

High wings are available in a white leather base with vintage patent leather panels and in two signature colorways, Power (Red) and Black. While, the Wings come in the same white leather base with crocodile-esque leather accents. Both, of course, come with the flappy laces. These sneakers not only pride themselves on sustainability, but also on comfort due to the terry-effect textile lining that cushions your feet. These are going to be perfect for the long, mysterious walks in the park or your upcoming bar crawl. You might even get to where you need faster… you really are going to feel like you have wings.

With any purchase of Wings, Zadig & Voltaire have included an upcycled Dust Bag made of leftover textiles from older Zadig & Voltaire collections. There is no waste at any level.
