For their third collaborative series, ZENITH and Felipe Pantone will release the DEFY Skyline Tourbillon Felipe Pantone, a limited edition watch available on September 12th. Adding a contemporary twist to a classic, the collaboration reimagines the ZENITH DEFY Skyline as compact and versatile, while still keeping with original details.
Crafted in a 41mm octagonal stainless-steel case, the DEFY Skyline Tourbillon Felipe Pantone is geometric and angular; unisex in its design, and versatile in its wear. Its interchangeable steel and black rubber bracelet, for example, highlights the particular attention paid to its ergonomics, as does its cutting-edge design.
“It's a masterpiece of high horology, combining simplicity and sophistication,” Felipe Pantone shared. “This complex yet minimalist timepiece features stunning details, including the tiny gradient indexes and hands, the mirror ‘Planned Iridescence’ dial and a truly unique bolt shaped tourbillon.”
The watch’s alternating satin-brushed and polished finishes create an interplay of light, a motif echoed by the watch’s metallic rainbow tones, recurring star shapes and customized iridescent watch box. These elements—subtle but eye-catching—play on recurring elements across Felipe Pantone’s extensive body of work, reflecting the artist’s inimitable style.
The DEFY Skyline Tourbillon Felipe Pantone will be available for purchase from ZENITH online and physical boutiques, as well as with select retailers, worldwide on September 12th.
