For a few hours only on July 18, [adidas](https://www.adidas.com/us) offered the lucky visitors an interactive playground with NYC adidas BOOST experience in New York City’s Chelsea neighborhood. The installation is a product of sportswear company’s most recent collaboration with [Finish Line](https://www.finishline.com) — a U.S. retail chain that sells athletic shoes, apparel and accessories. unnamed (2).jpg ![unnamed (2).jpg](https://assets-global.website-files.com/62ee0bbe0c783a903ecc0ddb/6472b8b8d9c940c1f9769a89_unnamed%2B%25282%2529.jpeg) The event offered visitors to BOOST their brain, creativity, and future through a series of interactions in the egg yolk-colored experiential playground, moving from base to base. Each base allowed the guests to “do something” — jump, climb or balance — demonstrating the comfort and responsiveness of adidas Ultraboost 19 in an interactive shoe trial. “We really wanted to do something where you could actively feel it and have people feel really engaged,” said Sarah Hall, a founder and partner at Harley and Company. “It's this idea of how you enhance and push yourself.” ![](https://assets-global.website-files.com/62ee0bbe0c783a903ecc0ddb/6472b8b8d9c940c1f9769a91_image-asset.jpeg) The first station ‘BOOST your brain’ was specially designed to promote spatial thinking — a skill that helps us create and navigate the material representation of things. After that, the installation offered visitors a trip back to their childhood on an up-and-down seesaw ride, BOOSTing their creativity by way of adult play. Lastly, the experience encouraged them to reach for a well-deserved prize, literally ‘grabbing their future’ — a fortune, a free product or a promo code, depending on which one they end up snagging. This is positive visualization in practice, where visitors receive a real product as a result of high-impact jumping.  ![](https://assets-global.website-files.com/62ee0bbe0c783a903ecc0ddb/6472b8b8d9c940c1f9769a8d_image-asset.jpeg) The initiative and installation came with the launch of ‘Feel the Boost’ campaign and the new Ultraboost 19 colorways, celebrating the technology’s impact on sport culture. The latest update of the Boost sneaker offers the continued benefits of the revolutionized silhouette that was inspired by and redesigned for a new era of running and fitness.  “Running is constantly evolving, so we designed the re-boosted and re-energized adidas Ultraboost 19 to empower runners all over the world to keep challenging and changing what running is and what it looks like,” said Sam Handy, a VP of Design at adidas Running. “We created a shoe that provides more energy return than ever before so that all runners can run with power and confidence in whatever way their creativity takes them.” * * *
