Today, producer, songwriter, and mixer Agnes Azria releases the video to “ILY STILL,” her first single of 2024 and the precedent to her forthcoming EP, You’re Not Real. Romantic and evocative, “ILY STILL,” weaves together the feelings of longing we’re left with when confronted with unreciprocated love. While her lyricism reflects a desire for a connection that’s gone missing, her visuals are cool and clinical; we follow Azria through anonymous pockets of the night on the back of a motorcycle, its driver unnamed and trivial. Here, with an all-white uniform that contrasts the surrounding darkness, Azria seems to have apathetically accepted such a loss. 

“ILY STILL” and the following You’re Not Real mark a shift for Azria, introducing a persona that thrives at the fusing result of innovative, industrial fashion and an electronic grunge sound. Having self-released her two previous EPs Overthinker and Keep It Simple, Azria’s latest offerings and imminent record pushes the confines of her creative and artistic pursuits.
