Swiss luxury brand Bally debuted their Autumn/Winter women’s and men’s collection at Milan Fashion Week in the Casa degli Atellani, the historic home of Leonardo da Vinci. During the runway show, entitled Persistence of Time, models interacted with the audience as garments swept past in shadowy vignettes.

This season, creative director Rhuigi Villaseñor plays with his connection to Los Angeles and the blockbuster tropes of Hollywood. A duality of strength and sensuality is evoked across menswear and womenswear through leather, metallics, and knitwear with lashings of lace. Notably, the après-ski aesthetic takes its cue from the alpine glamour of icons of the silver screen. Statement outerwear includes oversized faux fur coats and puffers quilted in archival diamond matelassé.

The opulent wardrobes are complemented with handbags, footwear, and jewelry that demand main-character attention. The Tilt Bag for women and Arkle Tote for men are multidisciplinary, as are the collection’s thigh-high and ankle boots. Jewelry is bold and original.

Villaseñor reinforces the brand’s heritage with the Bally emblem, featured across the looks in the graphic style of all-over logomania.
