In the past few years, Blake has been steadily climbing the ladder in the music industry, releasing hit single after hit single, all while swelling the ranks of his fanbase with blistering live shows, surprise appearances, and undeniably infectious melodies. 

Having dabbled with music all his life, Blake’s breakthrough came just a few years back, with a performance on Univision's Despierta America. Here, he mesmerized viewers with his electrifying stage presence, refreshing sound, and undeniable charm. This performance solidified Blake G’s status as an emerging R&B-pop icon and a heartthrob that fans could fall in love with.

As Blake’s status grew, so did the demand to see him perform live. He has been an opener for many big names and shared the stage with legendary acts like The Backstreet Boys, En Vogue, and Stephanie Mills. Beyond that, Blake cites multiplatinum producer and recording artist B. Howard is one of his closest creative collaborators. Thanks to B. Howard, Blake performed at a star-studded tribute night for Aaron Carter, where over $100,000 was raised in one night for the On Our Sleeves child mental health charity. To this day, Blake calls it one of the high points of his career. 

However, Blake has proven that he can do legwork in the studio as much as he can perform on stage. To that end, Blake sought Latin music icon Emilio Estefan, who helped him produce his debut EP, Resurreccion. In this brief but engaging introduction to Blake’s music, he showed an artistic ability to blend diverse musical influences seamlessly. 

With over half a dozen singles under his belt and 25,000 monthly listens on Spotify alone, Blake G. is poised to impact the music world significantly in the years ahead. His most recent singles have already geared fans up for what they can expect from him down the line. 

Blake started releasing songs in earnest at the start of 2023, showing audiences how much he had matured as an artist - and how well he could wield his old-meets-new style of R&B-pop. The artist’s prior single, ‘The One For Me,’ sounds like Backstreet Boys/NSYNC made fresh for the modern day. ‘Forever’ is a searching, somber love ballad; Baby Went Missin’ is as catchy a pop song as you’re likely to hear anywhere.
