Out of the sauna and into the ice bath. Through intense heat, extreme cold, and everything in between, Bremont’s follow-up to the limited edition ‘Waterman’ timepiece ensures precise temporal measurement whether above or beneath the surface.

Bremont introduces the "Waterman Apex II," a limited edition timepiece seamlessly blending precision and style to capture and elegantly display time both above and below the surface. The coveted aquatic format of this second edition was celebrated with an event hosted by brand ambassador, fearless marine adventurer waterman par excellence Laird Hamilton, at his Malibu, California home. The event featured a cold plunge and breathing exercises led by Hamilton, with time being kept using the new watch.

The “Waterman Apex II has earned its place among Bremont’s artfully constructed watches after having been tested rigorously by Hamilton, one of the world's most innovated surfers in recent memory. A pioneer of tow-in surfing, kiteboarding, and hydrofoil, Hamilton’s proclivity for pushing the boundaries of water sports is in a league of its own.

“I have a connection to functional art,” Hamilton expressed at the Malibu Farms luncheon. “If you think about a surfboard, it’s very beautiful aesthetically, and it rides a wave. This watch, it's functional,” he added, rotating his wrist to reflect light off the dial. “I'm in a sauna at 220, I'm in the ice tub, and it's still working. It's durable. So something about durability and aesthetics. I love those relationships.”

Limited to 350 pieces, this addition to Bremont's Supermarine Collection boasts water resistance up to 500 meters, a 43mm steel Trip-Tick® case with a scratch-resistant 24-hour black ceramic unidirectional bezel, and a matte black dial fittingly adorned with a shark fin motif amidst waves. The dial is framed by a new Harbour Blue dial flange, echoing its Harbour Blue integrated rubber strap.

“It’s been incredibly exciting bringing some updates to it that create greater consistency and cohesion across the entire range,” said Bremont CEO Davide Cerrato. “The Waterman Apex II reflects these design changes and we’re really honored to be continuing our work with Laird who perfectly personifies what being a waterman is.”

Bremont's mechanical watches are meticulously crafted at "The Wing," the brand's Manufacturing & Technology Centre in Henley-on-Thames, England. The brand's distinction lies in high precision engineering, craftsmanship, technical innovation, and a unique design ethos, all encapsulating the spirit of adventure.
