At the intersection of music, high fashion, and the art world is Turkish-born DJ and producer Carlita, who’s spearheading style and music scenes from New York to Los Angeles. She recently made her Coachella debut, where she first performed at the Yuma tent with DJ Tennis–the two make up the newly formed duo Astra Club– and then moved onto a solo set at Do LaB, the stage that acts as a cornerstone of the festival's experience. 

Earlier this year she hosted her multi-sensory party Senza Fine at New York Fashion Week and frequents collaborations with brands such as Louis Vuitton, Nodaleto, Raisa Vanessa, and Les Benjamins. Musically, she’s inspired by 90s rock and Turkish psychedelia and has performed at stages at Burning Man, Tesla’s Giga Factory opening, and Day Zero. 

Carlita is known for her remix of RÜFÜS DU SOL’s See You Again and Diplo’s Don't Be Afraid, and has an upcoming release on May 5th. In celebration of her first time performing at Coachella, Carlita takes us behind the scenes of Weekend One.
