David Dawson and Emma Corrin star together in Amazon Prime's My Policeman showing in theaters now. Set in 1950s Britain, the film follows a same-sex love affair between a museum curator (Harry Styles) and a policeman (Dawson). Corrin, who plays a schoolteacher, falls in love with Styles' character, setting the scene for the forbidden love affair. The film explores the various ways in which we can love and what love means for different people. 

After their debut premiere Cesare in 2017, Emma Corrin has developed a career filled varied with movies and television shows. One of their most notable performances was in The Crown where Corrin played the daring role of Princess Diana. After My Policeman, Corrin will soon perform in the stage production of Orlando. Gracing the famous Globe Theatre for his acting debut many years ago, David Dawson has developed his work as an actor. From Widnes England, Dawson spent many years in musical theatre before his television roles. Following his starring role in My Policeman, Dawson is currently filming The Burning Girls

On the complexities of love Corrin shares, “I thought that it was such a beautiful ensemble story, and it explores so many versions of what love means to different people and how love can exist. I think it's rare that you see that in books or films.”  

Dawson reflects on his character’s sexuality and the profound importance of love throughout the film, sharing, “He’s incredibly proud of his sexuality...and is determined to thrive in this world which he occupies. In art and music and love.”
