On July 6th, luxury label Golden Goose celebrated its Dreamed by Dr. Woo collection launch at Maxfield in LA, with a private in-store event followed by a dinner co-hosted by Dr. Woo at Chateau Marmont. One of a series of HAUS of Dreamers events (the first of which took place in Venice on May 22nd), the brand’s third Dreamed By collection was in collaboration with Los Angeles-based tattoo artist Dr. Woo. HAUS, a new cultural platform launched by Golden Goose, facilitates an international community through its selection of, connection with, and relationship to a diverse set of individual creatives across the globe.

Though HAUS is physically based in Venice, Italy, HAUS of Dreamers is a series of global events thrown by Golden Goose to bring the physical experience of HAUS outside of its home base to key destinations around the globe, allowing creatives of all taxons to unite, pursuing an international network of lived innovative authenticity.

The brand’s collaboration with Dr. Woo– Dreamed by Dr. Woo– consists of three pieces, the first of which is the artist’s reinterpretation of a Venetian damask, incarnated in a limited-edition porcelain plate, adorned with the Dr. Woo’s exalted tattoo designs printed with decalcomania. The collection also features a genderless crew neck sweatshirt in aged white, with hand-worn edges and subtle yellowing. Embroidered with tattoo style designs and Woo’s lucky number 55 on the back, the garment is endowed with that signature heedless cool so frequently imbued in the Golden Goose Brand. The third element of the collection is a pair of Super-Star sneakers, which feature a 3D-embroidered detail of Woo's trademark spider symbol.
