Pointed palapa roofs peek through the tops of trees in the jungles of Tulum, where a boutique hotel has been built from the nature. Here, what used to be a small beach house has been converted into an 11-suite boutique hotel: La Valise Tulum. 

The natural beige building is perched on the Caribbean coastline of Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula, marking the spot where history and modernism come to a convergence. La Valise Tulum is the most recent from hotelier Yves Naman as a part of the Namron Hospitality Group. Last year, 11 more suites were added to the boutique hotel with the addition of the La Valise Jungle to the property.

The restaurant and bar uses fresh, local ingredients that can be served in the restaurant or on the beach.
