Tiffany & Co. Jewelry celebrates Jean Schlumberger’s boundless imagination and his fascination with the mysteries of the universe, those mysteries that surround us with their elusive charms, accessorizing all that is just out of our grasp. As we look up at the night sky, we become enamored with all that we cannot touch– the sun, moon, stars, distant galaxies and fantasy worlds. Tucked into darkness, cradled by it even, is a beautiful cosmic throne winking at us, bejeweled. Diamonds and sapphires, comets and falling stars, these celestial wonders that cast their light through the unknown, traversing the skies above and tucking themselves into chambered cavities below.

The Tiffany Blue Book Collection embodies the brilliance of this chaos, and its unexpected illustrations. Through the legacy of Jean Schlumberger as reimagined by Nathalie Verdeillie, a story of extraordinary craftsmanship is told to us through shooting stars captured, delivering that unattainable beauty in the form of a collection with six distinct chapters: Wings, Arrow, Constellation, Iconic Star, Ray of Light and Apollo.

The collection will launch in three phases over the course of 2024, debuting in the spring. Portraying Jean Schlumberger’s iconic adaptations of the universe, the spring collection will begin with the Wings theme, symbolizing flight and fantasy. Similar to gilded sun rays that illuminate the feathered dance of winged creatures above, the Ray of Light chapter takes inspiration from archival brooches and designs featuring red spinels that evoke delicate expressions of ephemeral beams of light. Much like the shiftiness of these light beams, one of the most ambiguous designs within Ray of Light is an incredibly special necklace that converts into a tiara, a style that has not been included in Tiffany Blue Book collections for several years.

The Iconic Star chapter explores the star silhouette as an iconic symbol of the universe, expanding on Jean Schlumberger’s allure of the stars, the Constellation chapter encompasses motifs that are defined by elements reminiscent of star patterns. Each of these chapters celebrates visions as seen through a lens of the world above. Somewhere between wings, cosmos and constellations is a message, a gift; perhaps, a transcription of all that is untold provided to us by some messenger of light. The Apollo chapter and creations within Arrow lead us there with a spearlike precision and valiant glow.

Jean Schlumberger’s fantasy realms began with Blue Book 2023: Out of the Blue. Rising from the deep, blue world of the sea and transcending to its mirror in the sky, Blue Book 2024: Tiffany Céleste traverses all that adorns the skies and that which exists far beyond them. The new collection reimagines surrealist designs into wondrous creations.
