UNION Los Angeles presents their Spring 2023 collection, designed by CEO Chris Gibbs. Founded in 1989, Union acted as the first streetwear store in the world, and has since been epitomized by Southern California streetwear culture. The brand promotes and encourages the counterculture that tends to naturally evolve alongside sub-genres created by those who take the path less traveled by. In 2023, UNION’s international platform continues to celebrate rebellion through a Southern California perspective. For their Spring collection, UNION focuses on workwear staples, patina-heavy materials, and several treatments to augment vintage aesthetics.

The Hawkins Pant is revisited with a double knee carpenter pant for everyday wear, offered in heavy plaid. Military BDU is contrasted with satin and treated with heavy wash to highlight a vintage patina in olive and soft pink, while the Paige Pant is updated with twill and blocking, offered in an elastic waist and track pant pocket details.

For cardigans and sweaters, UNION traverses knitwear in tight, dense styles. Floral embroidery is featured in several pieces throughout the collection, alongside earthy muted tones of taupe, blue, brown and olive on garments that are vintage washed to bring out an old school patina.

The collection will be released on March 2 and again on March 30 at UNION LA, UNION TOKYO, UNION OSAKA, and online.
