[Alia Fleury](https://www.instagram.com/aliafleury/?hl=en) is here to represent for her hometown of New Orleans in the most positive light. Born and raised in the Seventh Ward, the rising star grew up in a musical household that exactly captures the essence of the city’s love for jazz, hip-hop, bounce, and everything in between. From songwriting at the age of 12 to uploading covers on Youtube in high school, the singer, songwriter, and scientist continues to use music as an outlet—creating heartful ballads while doing it.
Now having signed to Curren$y’s Jet Life recordings, Fleury is excited as ever to be releasing her debut EP titled _Letters To Him,_ produced by the Platter Boyz. The project conveys the emotions, frustrations, healing, and liberations that exist when experiencing breakups, situationships, and heartache.
On "Call You Back," Alia embraces "too little too late"—answering to the late callback and reply with a boss mentality. Self-awareness strongly exists in "Easy To Love": "It's about you being a tough person to love. I feel like I'm very complex by nature. I just may be a little bit toxic, sometimes easy to love. When you meet someone so nice and so opposite of you, it's like, how are you like this? And how am I not like this?" shared Alia.

For "Four Seasons," the singer symbolizes the emotions and progression of a relationship with the year's four seasons. "The four seasons are different. It's hot; it's cold. It's cool. You think about a person with different personalities, and they're all of these things as well. Four seasons is really about going through the emotions of a relationship," the singer stated.
The longest track of the EP, "Ready," evokes the sexual desires one may have without the longing for a relationship, while "About Me" explores the sentiments of a broken-hearted person facing the harsh reality of their ex moving on and living their best life.
