Looking ahead to 2021, Berluti, like many in the era of Covid-19, will find itself in a long-distance relationship. Enter American sculptor Brian Rochefort, the house’s first ready-to-wear collaborator. Artist Director of Berluti, Kris Van Assche, conceived of the collection with Rochefort from home the designer’s home in Paris all the way to the sculptor’s studio in Los Angeles. A video with select dialogue between the two, and behind-the-scenes ephemera, is viewable below. The collection will be fully unveiled and launched in stores in January 2021.
