From March 4-5, they will be taking over the last remaining porn theatre in Paris, which will be switching from its regular programming to something no less seductive--a large survey of Margiela’s most iconic vintage collections from 1989 to 2009 for an exhibition and clothing sale called, fittingly, "Margiela Porn". Accompanying the exhibition will be screenings of vintage Margiela shows along with a special fashion film created for the occasion. A unique campaign announcing the presentation is already in motion, featuring repurposed vintage porn movie posters and "tart cards" posted around Paris. It is only appropriate that one of the most lusted after labels receives a properly salacious presentation, especially when the goods are this...good. A treasure trove of one-of-a-kind Margiela pieces available nowhere else? You would be remiss to miss it.
