October 28th marks National Cat Day, and we couldn’t be more excited about the prospects of getting a chance to honor our beloved feline friends the same way our Egyptian counterparts did to the cat gods. While the thought of Cat Day is a great idea, I still can’t shake off the thought of mousey girls in frumpy knits trying to herd a litter of cats, wrists bloody from getting scratched up… To each their own, here is a list of things to do this weekend to reclaim the cat lady.


The Other Art Fair’s guest artist Gary Baseman created an immersive experience called _The Purr Room_ and offer two new limited edition prints for purchase—available exclusively at the fair. Many of Baseman’s wild works have been inspired by his cat Blackie.

As [previously mentioned](http://www.flaunt.com/content/louis-vuitton-grace-coddington), the chicest cat lovers in NY will have the chance to treat themselves to the Grace Coddington Louis Vuitton collab that is decorated with Coddington’s drawings of her 2 Persian cats. The pop-up just opened and will be available through November 12th.

Even with the art installation and/or a new bag perhaps the greatest luxury is just to have a latte with a kitty. Crumbs & Wiskers and PrettyLitter is giving out 30 minute experiences along with free caffeine from 9:30am-2:30pm.
