The man, the myth, and certainly the legend, DJ Khaled released his much anticipated collaboration with Nike Air Jordan at Monday’s pop-up event, sponsored by CIROC. Sneaker heads all over the world are shaking in their Nike Yeezy Plats. Khaled released a duo of shoes titled “Asahd 3’s” and “Another One 3’s”. All being released ahead to his much anticipated album, **_Father of Asahd_**.
DJ Khaled created an immersive experience for his fans, “Everything I do, I get my fans involved. From the presentation to actually getting the music. My fans get to be apart of everything I do and I love that.” The event was crowded with Khaled’s friends, among those were Mark Wahlberg, Busta Rhymes, Casey Veggies, and Christian “King” Combs. Also, Flipp Dinero, Khaled’s newest We The Best Artist Flipp Dinero, came out for a special performance of the smash hit “Leave Me Alone”.
The shoes are crafted with suede and solid blue leather. Khaled said the hardest part of designing the shoe was, “The \[original\] shoe is already so iconic, you have to respect the iconic. It connects with the original, it’s called praising the original. I picked a color-way so that the fans can appreciate the collab.” Khaled also let us know that Ashad will be receiving his own pairs.
