Eric Eremita the 54 year young Italian - American General Contractor, Designer, Fashionista & Reality TV Star who is best known for his supporting but pivotal role (playing himself) on HGTV’s hit show “Love It or List It” starring Hilary Farr and David Visentin. He also made an earlier impact on HGTV’s “Brother vs Brother” starring the world famous Property Brothers aka Drew & Jonathan Scott.
But honestly that’s some really old news at this point!
Eric catapulted to HGTV fame in 2013 resembling the dapper, blue eyed, bald headed, sunglass wearing, Grammy Award Winner “PITBULL” aka Armando Christian Pérez.
Eric also made the same impact to the Home & Garden TV world the same way the Grammy winner did to the music industry except for one major thing.
PITBULL never disappeared from our screens and his career hit major strides and huge deserved success.
WHAT HAPPENED TO ERIC EREMITA YOU ASK?
I have been paying close attention to his journey from the very beginning of his TV career. He had & still has the entire package for the makings of the next big reality TV star!
So… “Where is Eric now?”
He’s not on any new episodes of “Love It or List It” or appearing on any new shows at all to be exact. But the episodes that he did appear in are still airing on HGTV.
The renovation show he helped popularize is being repeated over and over again in reruns. These episodes air in the United States & many countries around the world. The networks & production company definitely earned there monies worth with his popularity and according to his fans and many have quoted “They should be paying Eric royalties for as many times as they show him, so why not just give him his own show?!”
According to Eric’s Instagram & Facebook pages his fans really do love and miss him tremendously and want to know why HGTV, the Discovery Network now Warner Brothers and many of its affiliates are constantly running marathons of the shows starring Eremita.
But the question one fan exclaimed is: “If they don’t want him gracing their air waves on any new shows why do they keep airing back to back re-runs starring him?”
We know why another fan exclaimed:“The networks are not stupid, They know what sells! And that’s Eric!”
Now that last question that was quoted from one of his fans “Why do they keep airing back to back re-runs starring him” just made me really curious and I wanted to know why as well?
Eric was and definitely still is a popular fan favorite on HGTV & Love It or List It. In my opinion and I do happen to agree with his fans on this one. That not only did Eric turn the show around but he made the show what it is today. You can’t take away his charisma! That’s definitely something he was born with!
Another fan expressed their feelings:
“It’s really boring now (Love It or List It) and I think honestly many of us have had enough of Hilary Farr and her “Tough Love” act… I really can’t believe people still want to watch her and that the network gave her a new show starring just herself. It’s difficult and “Tough” to watch.
Eric has definitely made many of us start watching HGTV & the home renovation shows he has appeared on. “He’s extremely relatable” a fan quoted and many of us tuned in episode after episode just for him, his blue eyes, hilarious remarks and his side eye that was irreplaceable and second to none! That’s something only a true blue New Yorker could serve up with that much confidence and ease. Which in my opinion just made the show even better to watch.
If you’re a fan of Eric’s as I am, we all want to know where he is? His social media accounts prove it as fans alike are asking & complaining. “Where is ERIC?”
We know he was impacted by Covid and was in the hospital for a little over a month in which 16 days were spent on a ventilator (March 2020).

and his journey as I do, you know that he’s fully rehabilitated and doing better than ever health wise. He’s looking better than ever as well! We’re so happy Eric is doing great.
But again that’s just some more old news!

Articles in DEADLINE & Country Living Magazine did announce some exciting news about a show that Eric wrote and is starring in called HOMEBOYS or Home At Last… But once again not a sound of when it might be airing! So what happened to “HOMEBOYS” aka “HOME AT LAST” and why hasn’t a major network picked up this show written by Eremita starring him at the helm? Is someone or something blocking him from stardom? Because we want more ERIC!
I would have bet money that Eric’s creation would have been gracing our airwaves by now. It looks really cool and extremely current. It has everything including a dope beat and real deal vibe!
