[Evan Giia](Evan Giiaahttps://www.instagram.com/evangiia/) returns her most powerful single yet: “Switch Off.” Premiered exclusively on Flaunt, the singer-songwriter once again teams up with production duo MEMBA on a new bass-heavy anthem. The new single arrives just days prior to her departure on her first ever headlining tour. After that, the Brooklyn-based artist will go on the road again as support for Louis The Child on their worldwide tour.

It was actually MEMBA’s track where Evan made her debut, appearing on “Heat of the Moment” released in 2016. But it was her 2018 record “WESTWORLD” (via ODESZA’S Foreign Family Collective) that propelled her name to the mainstream light.
As a songwriter, Evan aims to write songs that are relatable, without having to be about love and heartbreak. She explains, “I wrote this song about a friend that was going through a really rough time, nothing was going their way. I wanted to make something that would turn their mood around, get them up and dancing, and even allow them to cathartically scream the words of the chorus with me.

Ecan first tested the waters played “Switch Off” during her live sets before it was released to the public — the fans instantly loved it. While it was a brand new song, the audiences caught on the lyrics within just one listen.
When Evan herself is stressed, in her head, worried, or in a bad place, her solution is to get up and MOVE. She states, “I want to inspire people with this song to get up, shake it off and ‘kiss that shit goodbye.’ Now that it’s out in the world, I can’t wait to have a room full of my fans screaming ‘KISS THAT SHIT GOODBYE’ with me!”
