Last night Flaunt and [Netflix](https://www.netflix.com/) hosted the US premiere of new film, [_Earthquake Bird_.](https://www.netflix.com/title/80244457) A psychosexual mystery set in late 1980s Tokyo, the film stars _Flaunt_ alumni [Alicia Vikander](https://www.flaunt.com/content/people/alicia-vikander-2), [Riley Keough](https://www.flaunt.com/content/people/riley-keough-lucky-logan-aftershock-feature), and [Jack Huston](https://www.flaunt.com/content/people/jack-huston), along with Naoki Kobayashi as Teiji.
A cocktail reception, with [DJ Jihaari](https://www.instagram.com/djjihaari/?hl=en) on the decks, set the tone pre-screening in the inimitable Netflix lobby, and the evening concluded with Flaunt’s editor in chief, Matthew Bedard, interviewing director Wash Westmoreland, followed by questions from the intimate audience.
Anyone who enjoys meticulously art-directed noir filled with romance, betrayal, alienation, and suspense will appreciate this latest effort from Westmoreland.
_Earthquake Bird_ will be available on Netflix on November 15, 2019.
