Astralwerks artist [**Surf Mesa**](https://www.instagram.com/surfmesa/?hl=en) is a fresh talent who’s well on his way to becoming a household name. With his latest offering, “Somewhere,” the genre-blending wunderkind has teamed up with Gus Dapperton to deliver yet another song-of-summer contender.
Now, _Flaunt_ exclusively premieres an accompanying video directed by Mara Whitehead. The visual features Surf Mesa and Los Angeles girl skateboard crew, GRLSWRL, adventuring around a Southern California desert riding Loaded Skateboards.
Surf Mesa speaks on the track, “I wanted to create something that could withstand the test of time, that’s my goal in life and music. Gus is the perfect fit for this track and even though we’re on opposite coasts, working with him was a dream.” He and Gus Dapperton wrote and recorded the song between Los Angeles and Brooklyn, their respective homebases.
“Somewhere” arrives on the heels of Surf Mesa’s debut smash “[ily (i love you baby)](https://surfmesa.lnk.to/ily)” featuring Emilee which is now certified Gold in the States, and has surpassed over 400 million combined global streams.
