In the 2010’s, the thirty year cycle seemed to roll in with full force, amplifying 80s nostalgia and vintage shopping, and the 2020’s are no different so far. Now with a surge of 90s and Y2K style, GUESS do their part by launching their Certified Vintage Program. The program reintroduces 68 classic styles that will will be available for the first time since their original launches. The collection features denim, crewnecks, jackets, and tees designed between 1981 and 1999 in Los Angeles.
Most notably, the Certified Vintage Program resurrects ‘80s and ‘90s denim, marked by the iconic GUESS triangle on the back pocket, featuring the brand’s innovative stonewash technique for the jeans. The denim jackets feature different washes, from acid to stonewash, and am assortment of patches and labels from the past few decades.
