Japan House LA is bringing to life a virtual new exhibition, _NATURE/SUPERNATURE: Visions of This World and Beyond in Japanese Woodblock Prints._ The exhibition beginning Monday, February 15th and goes on until Monday, May 31st, features more than 60 woodblock prints from the Scripps College collection made by some of the most renowned fine artists in Japan. The exhibition will feature three main sections. The first being The Woodblock Printing section that showcases the process and history of the ancient technique. The second section is the Nature section that features the gorgeous landscapes around Japan. Lastly the exhibition features the Supernature section that explores deities, animals, trickster spirits, ghosts and demons, amongst other supernatural beings that inhabit these landscapes.
