This release marks the transformation from Jasper Lotti to Yullola, and begins a new era for the artist’s sound, with her debut album coming out this fall via new label [D36](https://www.instagram.com/d36world/?hl=en). Known for her 2019 EP [_XOskeleton_](https://soundcloud.com/yullola/sets/xoskeleton) and 2020 EP [_Kiss Tha Future_](https://soundcloud.com/yullola/sets/kissthafuture), Jasper Lotti is reemerging today as Yullola, a name influenced by the Sanskrit word “ullola,” which has a dual meaning, and translates to stormy, surging ocean waves, but also alludes to waves in terms of energy, frequency, and vibration. On the track, Yullola comments, “I wanted to make this song and video to symbolize my evolution manifesting from mind into reality. A fever dream ends with me crossing through a portal, entering my next iteration.” Under this new name, the artist aims to be more grounded in humanity, releasing the power that the new digital world has on all of us. An embracement of her ancient, ethereal origins, Yullola acts as a direct line to her Indian heritage: looking at the past to approach the future.
