[KUČKA](https://www.instagram.com/iamkucka/), the Australian producer and vocalist, calls for listeners to transcend the external stimulation of the everyday by refocusing on human connection and the imagination in her new intimate music video for her latest track, “Real.” As a veteran producer, with attachments including Flume, SOPHIE, Vince Staples, and A$AP Rocky, KUČKA is no newcomer to creating compelling and fantastical music. Self-produced with additional help from Chance the Rapper and Kid Cudi collaborator Nosaj Thing, “Real” explores KUČKA’s own journey of rejecting her external wants through creativity and imagination.
In the Dillon Howl directed music video for “Real”, KUČKA finds herself isolated in an eerie forest, hysterically excavating strange objects from the ground. The surreal imagery perfectly compliments the delicate and fantastical elements of the LuckyMe signed vocalist. KUČKA continually experiments with ambient sounds and glitch textures that highlight her alluring air-like voice reminiscent of modern ASMR. Listen to the single below.
