Above everything else, Bento is incredibly proud of her Hawaiian heritage. She loves and adores Hawaiian culture and values, which significantly influence and reflect in her business. She was raised with those values, in what she likes to call a balanced upbringing between two different worlds. Bento enthusiastically and happily spreads aloha, one of the greatest Hawaiian values.
"I was shown all walks of life, which makes me want to help all walks of life. Giving back to my community is important to me, and I consider this a responsibility of mine," says Bento.
She leverages her skills and financial gains to help her community. She currently works with numerous charities through which she reaches out to underprivileged people. Giving back to the community has become part of her lifestyle, and she intends to continue the vital work.
Bento aims to start a nonprofit group to use her rich network in the real estate industry and beyond to raise funds for noble causes. She wants to establish a scholarship program under the NGO and send as many children as possible to private schools and colleges. Bento strongly believes in education being the key to success in any field. Access to better education is a basic need for everyone, and that's why she makes it a top priority.
Her life goal is to grow in the industry and hopefully become a developer, which would allow her to establish sustainable programs for the youth and kupuna in her community with initiatives such as farmers markets. Bento wants to use her knowledge and skills from her previous work in the Hawaii governor’s office to help people buy or sell their homes while applying and understanding Hawaii laws.
Bento's goal is to build sustainable developments and give back to the community. She wants to bring change in the community and industry by doing things differently. Transparency and authenticity remain her top priorities. More significantly, Bento intends to ensure the community benefits from the developments she makes happen.
