The iconic Australian eyewear brand [Le Specs](https://lespecs.com/), known for their innovative eyewear collections, have announced their long awaited collaboration with New York based British designer, [Christian Cowan](https://instagram.com/christiancowan) launching in March. Conceived in 1979, Le Specs has created their cult following due to their inhibited and groundbreaking glasses for their fearless wearers. Christian Cowan’s successful collaborations have included Giuseppe Zanotti, Powerpuff Girls, and Eli Halili while Le Specs has been involved with Adam Selman, Self Portrait, and Henry Holland. Their union creates a perfect harmony as the eyewear collection exudes verve and elation with acid-bright shades and extreme metallic.
After graduating from the prestigious Central Saint Martins and London College of Fashion only four years ago, Cowan has created a reputation of dressing some of today’s most prominent and powerful women like Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj, and Naomi Campbell. You might recognize his work on Cardi B’s iconic album cover of _Invasion of Privacy._ With this collection comes a celebration of Cowan’s upbeat upbringing and lively culture. “I was really inspired by my Spanish heritage, where everyone is always at the beach; diving, surfing, tanning. I took that and fused it with the world Instagram - it’s excessiveness and flashiness. Think sporty, sexy, boss” says Cowan.
