 We humans love nothing more than a role-reversal, a comeback story, a David and Goliath, a John Travolta. To root for the underdog is woven into the very fabric of our nature. But what about in actual nature? Rare is the power dynamic flipped, rare is the tear-tugging third act climax where the gazelle flips the script and pile drives the cheetah, only to snack on its flesh in the hot summer sun. Rare does the salmon slap back at the bear. Rare does the mouse swallow the snake. In our special world of editorial folly and fantasy, though, anything is possible. In our world, the parrot dominates the crocodile. The chicklets possess the lizard. The herron outmuscles the alligator. So, a springtime offering of Louis Vuitton exotic leather goods for longing and luster. After all, these unusual and rare times call for unusual and rare sources of inspiration.
