The largely art-driven events were held at the Brooklyn Navy Yard and produced by LA-based promoter collective, Stranger Than.
Stranger Than produced Mayan Warrior’s first West Coast show off the Playa and are renowned for debuting unique urban venues for each of its events. For ten years Mayan Warrior has been instrumental in helping to raise the profile of the Mexican electronic music scene and has also been a nonprofit since its inception.
The Mayan Warrior shows with Stranger Than transform urban cores into other-wordly and art-filled environments. From installation art pieces created by the Mayan Warrior community to individual performers that pop up within and above the crowd, the shows are truly immersive experiences. Mayan Warrior’s 10 Year Anniversary Tour will complete with a show in Los Angeles on October 29th and San Francisco on November 19th.
