The youth hold the ability to achieve incredible feats. They hold so much potential that, if well-tapped and nurtured, they can lead to unprecedented levels of success. Most need guidance and exposure to inspirational ideas and opportunities to spark their confidence and creativity.
An empowered youth knows their potential, worth, and abilities, and have an inner drive capable of moving mountains. Though some people are born with innate abilities and drive to try new things, the larger population relies on their immediate surroundings for motivation and encouragement to explore their potential.
Mehran Rowshan, a certified sports coach, knows the importance of mentorship and empowerment for the young generation. According to Mehran, opportunities, encouragement, and general empowerment goes a long way to helping the young generation blossom and explore their potential. Youth empowerment is also an avenue for teaching youngsters the values and beliefs they can rely on, especially during hardships and challenges.
Mehran has spent the last two decades coaching and empowering the young generation to find their purpose in life. He is the founder and owner of Alliance Football Club, a youth soccer club and also a sports and sustainability brand. Mehran also runs the Youth Mentorship, a program through which he offers mentorship at a personal level to help the young improve their mental strengths and thinking skills.
Mehran was born and raised in Tehran and comes from a sporting family. His grandfather was one of the founding fathers of Taj, one of the biggest football clubs in Asia. His uncle, Hassan Rowshan, is a three-time Asian cup winner and part of the Iran team that played in the World Cup and Olympics.
Following the family lineage, Mehran was a sports fanatic with a relentless passion for personal development. Unfortunately, his football career was short-lived due to a knee injury, but he has still remained close to the game. He is a multiple F. A.-qualified coach and the Middle East’s Sports Leader of the Year in 2021 at the Sports Industry Awards (SPIA).
Throughout his football coaching career, Mehran has worked closely with the young generation helping hundreds of them sign professional contracts in some of the world’s best leagues. The experience also opened his eyes to the need for guidance and empowerment for youngsters. Some of the best talents to emerge from the Alliance Football Club are products of close mentorship and empowerment that encouraged and guided them to explore their abilities.
Mehran is also keen on developing his youth mentorships program to feature more impactful programs. He believes that the youngsters need guidance and someone to talk to now more than ever before. His goal is to impart and mold the young generation to have the right leadership skills essential for a better tomorrow.
“The goal is to build a more confident, revolutionary, considerate, and empathic future generation of leaders. I hope to be able to reach more boys and girls who can benefit from my programs,” adds Mehran.
To Mehran, youth empowerment is the first step to creating a better community. He has tailored the programs to establish a gateway to personality development.
