Ottolinger’s AW21 collection is realism and magic. The dreamlike prints by Cheyenne Julien portray the past-reinterpretation and future-hopecrafting that come from her family, community, mental health and personality. Eco/socio/racial issues are highlighted within her paintings, drawing on themes of rebellion, resistance, transformation of tradition, and a defiance of authority.
