Art and retail one stop concept shop Please Do Not Enter just presented their latest collaborative installation. Working with Filipino-American Curator Michelle Aquino, owners Nicolas Libert and Emmanuel Renoird produced the [PULO Project](https://puloproject.com/) to build awareness of the Filipino Art, design and fashion community. The project brings forth these works placing the southeast Asian island on the LA and global trajectory showcasing the artisan crafted products and conceptually driven art pieces.
Split into 3 parts, the first premiered yesterday in the flagship store as well as The Lab space at the Nomad. Each store was designed to showcase 2 varying moods from vibrant, neon, and synthetic to rustic, structured, and organic. At the opening, a performance titled “Aliens of Manila” presented the sculptural nature of Leeroy New’s colorful costumes as they moved through an abstract performance choreographed by Heidi Duckler Dance at the rooftop of the Nomad hotel.

[Kenneth Cobonpue](http://www.kennethcobonpue.com/profile/) who just launched a collaboration with Disney Star Wars, utilized his wrapping technique on the dragnet chair.
The light installation by [Luisa Robinson](https://www.luisarobinson.com) in collaboration with Kenneth Cobonpue uses the traditional Filipino steaming techniques to form the lamps in an organic shell shape.
[Leeroy New](http://leeroynew.com/) who will be having a show at Palais De Tokyo in June, presented his dreamy and detailed vision creating sculptural pieces out of found items and plastic.
[ZACARIAS 1925](https://www.instagram.com/zacarias1925/?hl=en) features wonderful wicker creations that are a modernist takes on tradition basket weaving techniques. The results are informed by contemporary architecture while still being malleable.
[Ken Samudio](http://ken-samudio.com) jewelry and clutches are made of recycled plastics and mimic color palettes and textures found in nature as communicated by the designers background as a biologist.
[Susanne Verallo](https://susanneverallo.com) jewelry showcases minimal and deco design that is created out of repurposed shell offcuts and overruns salvaged from shell-craft companies where the items are sourced.
The show’s curator [Michelle Aquino](https://www.instagram.com/explore/tags/michelleaquino/) also created a capsule collection using a print from the inspiration trip to Bohol, Philippines sublimated onto Crepe de Chine.
