Born and Dallas but now based in Los Angeles, the rapper, singer, songwriter, and producer serves up bars as bold as his favorite color, proving he has the talents to be one of the greats in the rap game.
Now following the release of his debut single titled “Head Shoulders,” which flips the old school classic rhyme: “Head, Shoulders, Knees, Toes.” A certified banger, the record is now matched with an equally powerful visual: chock full of yellow, baddies, money, and of course, SMILEZ’ distinct persona.
In an exclusive quote to _Flaunt_, SMILEZ states, "We wanted to go over the top since it’s my first video, we wanted to set the bar high. We set up the world’s first yellow night club and from there, shit went crazy. A few girls were down to get ‘smilez’ tattoos. A few weeks later, we wanted to add to the video so we shot guerrilla style. Found a billboard in LA, painted that shit yellow, went up and performed on it. It was a intense experience and luckily didn’t get in any trouble.”
