[Maddy Maia](https://www.instagram.com/maddymaia/?hl=en) is a multifaceted artist through and through. Producer, DJ, and A&R for the renowned indie music label, Ninja Tune, as well as the co-label head for the newest female focused label, [SOS Music](https://www.instagram.com/sistersofsound/?hl=en), Maddy is constantly working within various avenues of the music industry. Born in London and based in LA, Maddy has dedicated the last few years establishing herself as a notable artist in the international dance music scene.
Through her work with co-label head, Tottie, Maddy has established radio residencies for SOS Music on stations like Worldwide FM, as well as Los Angeles station DUBLAB. Centering femme and queer artists in her DJ sets and work within the SOS label, Maddy has made a name for herself as a unique and inclusive artist. Maddy has played a wide span of shows, whether that be at venues like LA Warehouse parties or big scale events, such as Coachella.
The artist’s first production, which was released last year under the SOS label, was a critical success, earning Maddy the cover of Amazon’s Electronic Rising Artist playlist, as well as acclaim from RA, Mixmag, DJ mag + The Wire.
