Filmed and directed by Paige Stark, singer and drummer of the band, the new visual comes as a preview of their second album, _Castaway_, out July 2nd. An homage to Stark’s favorite vampire movies, _Only Lovers Left Alive_ and _A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night,_ it’s the first time the entire band appears in a music video. Dressed as vampires and shooting around Los Feliz late at night, things get very spooky. “During the pandemic, we were working on an instrumental record because I couldn't write words and was kind of going crazy sitting in my apartment alone. I needed to be creative and see my bandmates to preserve my mental health. So we went to our friend Joel Jerome's place and recorded this instrumental record over two weeks in the middle of the summer heat wave,” comments Stark about the song and video. “With this song, words just came. I hadn't written a word during the pandemic and then I suddenly felt like saying something about it. At first we were going to let it be the one song with a vocal on this otherwise instrumental record, but later we decided it fit more with _Castaway_, so we added it. We mixed it with the batch of songs from _Castaway_, so it feels like part of that group sonically now.”
