[Tensnake,](https://instagram.com/tensnake) the Hamburg-born producer, announces his long awaited album _L.A._ by releasing his first single, “Automatic.” Marco Niemerski reached critical acclaim after releasing his immediate hit EP, “In the End (I want to Cry)” in 2009. Since then he has spent more than a decade creating electronic music’s most influential tracks amassing over 70 million streams on Spotify alone. Influenced by the 80’s, Tensnake’s “Automatic” contains 80’s aspirations bridged with modern rhythmic beats to create his iconic dance pop soundscape.
In his latest masterpiece Niemerski bids goodbye to Los Angeles through his sixteen track love letter that includes all his musings and admiration towards the city. “This album was about me, about evolving, about getting better,” Tensnake shares. “I could never produce just house music for the rest of my life – there's not been that much innovation in house music since the late ’80s. I put a lot of effort, love and energy into this record. And I think they’re great songs. Songs that will find the right people.”

About the video director [BRVVT](https://brvvt.com) was drawn to past cinematic motifs explaining, “The brief for Automatic was to create a visually attractive piece that incorporated vintage elements but still modern enough to avoid the pitfalls of nostalgia. As I love the combination of dance, art, fashion and music in my work, the idea to have a provocative dancer choreograph sequences to the track was quickly set. I love to work with colored lights, and that’s how we set the right mood for this piece.”
