Here or There, the short film that premiered at Sommsation in Park City, Utah on January 21st, blurs the line between memory and reality. Directed by Tyler-Marie Evans, the film follows Sarah, a young woman at a party set in the future as she fantasizes about and tries to get over her ex-boyfriend, August.

Sommsation presented the film on January 21st during the Sundance Film Festival, with a Q&A with Evans and actress Laura Dennis, followed by a “Women In Film” panel with Lauren Selig, Caylee Cowan, Ella Balinska, and Lily Krug alongside Evans. The panel was designed for organizations and companies to connect with female filmmakers, who are underrepresented behind the scenes.

Evans’ female-centric film, with the majority of speaking roles belonging to women, explores how women view dating and relationships, especially after a break-up. Here or There is currently making its way around the festival circuit, with a trailer available on Vimeo.
