Korean eyewear brand [Gentle Monster](http://www.gentlemonster.com) will be dropping their new collection in conjunction with Tokyo label AMBUSH on July 11th. An amalgam of both labels’ distinct aesthetics, Yoon Ahn of [AMBUSH](http://www.ambushdesign.com) found inspiration for the line of sunglasses from the David Bowie film _The Man Who Fell to Earth._
“I wanted to create sunglasses to compliment this mood but in a modern 2019 way,” Ahn said of the funky and futuristic collaboration.
The limited-edition line includes the sporty “Zip Tie,” a google-inspired look that features the juxtaposition between plastic and metal that favors the bold. The “Zip Tie” will retail at $350 and comes in orange, purple and white.
The capsule collection drops July 11th, and can be purchased exclusively [here](https://www.gentlemonster.com/).
