Before Netflix stand-up specials, there were HBO's Def Comedy Jams produced by Russell Simmons. Netflix pays respect and brings us _Def Comedy Jam's 25th Anniversary Special,_ celebrating and honoring the platform that gave some of our favorite comedians a jump-start in their career.
The trailer shows appearances from Dave Chappelle, Martin Lawrence, Cedric The Entertainer, Katt Williams, Bill Bellamy, Kevin Hart, Adele Givens, Craig Robinson, Tracy Morgan--all Black comedians whom found refuge at Def Comedy Jam.
