Potent Goods, a Los Angeles based Cannabis brand, was developed by mother and son duo Gela Nash-Taylor and Travis Nash. Nash-Taylor is a long since established entrepreneur, known for her part in the creation of Juicy Couture. The brand was a staple of early 2000’s fashion, worn by stars like Madonna, Paris Hilton, and Britney Spears. “As the co-founder of Juicy Couture, I like to consider myself one of the OG godmothers of LA style. POTENT GOODS is an extension of that casual sophistication and elevated cool that makes LA so unique and appealing. ” says Nash-Taylor. Potent Goods, focused on being a luxurious reflection of the fast paced escapist home of the brand itself, Southern California. Put simply, it is a high end cannabis collection paired with stylish and fresh apparel, moving away from just being a cannabis brand to something larger—a lifestyle collection. “Clothing is designed to enhance and accentuate, we respond to texture, color and since fashion rules everything around us, we wanted to make clothing that enhances the smoking experience” says Nash-Taylor.
The line took a holistic approach, covering all aspects of the cannabis experience. Travis Nash, the son of the duo states “I’ve made sure that our line of vaporizers is something I can enjoy as much as my mother does. It was important that POTENT GOODS be accessible and appealing to a range of cannabis users with an emphasized style, quality, and discretion.” Their multi-generational quality adds the perspective needed for a widespread audience.


Built for the casual cannabis user, the subtle effects of the pens induce a high that doesn’t force the user into, as Nash Taylor calls it “plunging into the deep-end.” The vaporizer collection and pre-rolls are a premium purchase, for simple and simultaneously indulgent experiences. The collection includes three choices, each entirely unique from one another. The first, Muse hybrid, centers on the inner-creative. Amplify sativa, the second, achieves self balance not meant to overstimulated or dull the senses. The last, Offline indica, relaxes and unlocks the so-called “dreamer.” This encompassing brand is forging different paths of experience through their three different genres of product.
The accompanying apparel line is, in many ways, reminiscent of Nash-Taylor’s last endeavor. Paired with the three different strains, the collection is split into 3 different lines based on each, including windbreakers, crossbody bags, masks, and track pants, all of which are in the same luxury direction of the cannabis. “All of our products come from a personal desire to create a luxurious and sensual smoking experience that’s for everyone, which is why everything in the collection is unisex. Los Angeles is the epitome of day for night dressing—a mix of high/low–a distillation of the city’s culture” says Nash-Taylor. The epitome of Los Angels lies within the brand.
