Founding a successful company at the age of 19, as [Rom Raviv](https://www.linkedin.com/in/romraviv/) did, is no easy feat. However, with persistence and great ideas, it is possible. Take Podblade, for example, a white label podcast editing company with a team of 10 that has achieved a six-figure income even without extensive advertising campaigns.
The idea for Podblade started with [Rom](https://www.imdb.com/name/nm10979379/)’s own struggles when he was still active as the host of the podcast _Spreading Success_. He started this podcast when he was 18; the podcast itself focuses on the lives of successful entrepreneurs and renowned influencers. Rom has hosted entrepreneurs like David Meltzer, Grant Cardone, and Lauren Tickner, among many others, as guests.
Currently, _Spreading Success_ is ranked as one of the top 50 marketing shows on Apple Podcasts and its popularity landed Rom an invite to the Podfest Expo event. However, although he was more than proud of himself for how far his podcast had come, he still found himself yearning for something more.
While pondering over different business ideas, he decided upon a podcast editing service. He knew that it was the industry that he could best apply his skills in, and he wanted to work with a clear purpose in mind.
When he was still a beginner at podcasting, he struggled with the editing process because he didn’t have any software for it. As you can imagine, this was quite stressful for him; he feared that spending so much time on editing alone would make it harder for him to produce quality content, to begin with. He felt as though his only option was to hire a professional, but as a college student, he didn’t have the money to do so.
Rom wanted to provide a low-cost editing service to other podcasters so that they wouldn’t have to stress out over the editing process as he did. He also wanted his service to include assistance with other tricky aspects of running a podcast, like promotion on social media. Rom found much satisfaction in being able to provide other podcasters with a service that he knew would be helpful to them.
However, he saw that there was a lot of competition between podcast editing companies. The number of people listening to podcasts has significantly increased in the past year or so, largely due to people being stuck inside thanks to the pandemic. Many people started to host their own shows as well after the start of the pandemic, and the demand for editors further grew. Rather than entering this competitive industry directly, Rom decided to change the offered services of Podblade instead.
Initially beginning as a B2C (business to consumer) company, Rom turned the company into a B2B (business to business) company. This means that rather than directly looking for clients who want to hire professional audio editors, Podblade takes work from other editing companies.
Rom has built his online reputation through [Facebook](https://www.facebook.com/romraviv1), [Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/romraviv/), [TikTok](https://www.tiktok.com/@romraviv), and [YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/romraviv). He’s now 20, and besides being a renowned social media figure, his company has received tons of positive feedback from its clients. Although he has already achieved a lot, he aims to strive for greater heights and inspire more people with his journey.
