The crowd ranged from Pacific Northwest chill to the opulent sight of a few Molly Goddard draped waifs, quite a lovely juxtaposition. Driving by the [Seattle Art Museum](https://www.google.com/search?client=safari&rls=en&q=Seattle+Art+Museum&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8) the exhibition of Zanele Muholi’s Somnyama Ngonyama – Hail the Dark Lioness, was a glorious mnemonic of the broad and eclectic taste of the city, which offered up a multifaceted show of works and styles. At the fair on display was a high focus on technologically and experiential works which reflected the tastes of the burgeoning collector scene of new tech youth, an assembly who were into the statement making works that would engage audiences as well as offer up a colorful exclamation. This graphic and kinetic nature of some of these pieces were well received in the various digital works that were on presentation as well as they endless corridors of esoteric ceramics, non-alike from the previous. Most notable was the acquisition of 4 works that would be soon displayed at the [Frye Art Museum](https://fryemuseum.org), the works ranged from the post digital figurative painting of Anthony White to the minimalist sculpture of Ki Kirk Yamahira. Other galleries presented heavy flow of feminist works which reflected the essential spirit that had come to nurture the cities free spirited reflection against the status quo. Thankfully grunge and Riot grrrlsart still alive albeit more refined. Below are some of our favorites from the show. Anthony James - Melissa Morgan  =============================== The work of Anthony James was a perfect meeting of style and design as his infinite geometric spheres illuminated and attracted audience seeking an immersive taste at the sublime vantage point of forever. ![The work of Anthony James was a perfect meeting of style and design as his infinite geometric spheres illuminated and attracted audience seeking an immersive taste at the sublime vantage point of forever.](https://cdn.prod.website-files.com/62ee0bbe0c783a903ecc0ddb/6472b9078f00d3d50750e224_Flaunt%2BMagazine%2B-%2BSeattle%2BArt%2BFair%2B2019%2B-5.jpeg) The work of Anthony James was a perfect meeting of style and design as his infinite geometric spheres illuminated and attracted audience seeking an immersive taste at the sublime vantage point of forever.
